Since 2023 I’m traveling the world on a bicycle, on which I carry a tent, a journal and a camera. My route has taken me from Germany across the Balkans to Turkey & Iraq, via Iran to the Arabian Peninsula, to Central Asia, and via Mongolia, China and South Korea to Japan. Upon reaching the Land of the Rising Sun I headed westwards again, crossing China, Pakistan and Afghanistan.
For 2026 I set myself the goal of cycling across the African continent north to south, via West Africa.

Why travel by bike?
In the past I have backpacked a lot and lived a digital nomad lifestyle, but my favourite place has always been the outdoors. By bike I can seek deeper connections with nature, interact more easily with the locals, and receive more authentic view of a country. On top of that it is among the cheapest ways to travel, especially if you enjoy camping like I do!
